Professional installation is included with the replacement of the following heaters from the point of all connections. Any work necessary beyond the point of connections or other repairs will be an additonal cost. Existing heaters will be placed outside for disposal, unless to heavy for service man to move alone. Disposal can be provided for a $75 fee. When you are upgrading from the existing water heater size or changing from a standard vent to a power vent, an additional charge will apply. These prices are good only for replacing alike heaters with alike heater and all connections and pipe sizes are the same. It is important to know when ordering if you have a standard vent or power vent, natural gas or propane water heater to replace. Please call Kathy at 458-9400 to schedule an appointment. |
Standard Vent: Water Heaters by AO Smith™: |
Standard vent water heaters are vented by metal flu pipe and tie into a chimney which vents out the top of your house above the roof line. Typically these chimneys are made of masonay or B-vent (double wall pipe) materials. Sometimes more than one appliance will be tied into the same chimney. Be sure to know which type of water heater to order when scheduling and appointment. Also know if you need natural gas or propane.

Power Vent: Water Heaters by AO Smith™: |
Power vent water heaters are typically vented with PVC (white plastic Pipe) pipe directly to outside of building. These water heaters are more efficient and may not be tied in with any other heater or appliance, rather vented individually. Be sure to know which type of water heater to order when scheduling an appointment. Also know if you need natural gas or propane.
